If you regularly experience side effects, or if the health benefits you used to feel from a Kratom dose are no longer apparent, this may be a sign that you need to make some adjustments to your routine. The biggest issue with continual Kratom usage is an increasing tolerance. Tolerance is when an increased dosage is needed for desired effects and sometimes can lead to a complete absence of positive effects from the Kratom.

With responsible, respectful use, Kratom can be a perfectly safe and enjoyable part of any lifestyle.

This is why it is important to have and participate in a community of Kratom enthusiasts. Each person can read and share their own story, and failures and successes. What works for them, and perhaps some new information that may work for you.

Can Kratom be used reliably every day? Twice a day? How many times is okay to dose per day? These are questions asked by many but there’s no solid answer that can be answered simply. Each person’s needs, and experiences will be different. If you are using Kratom to stave off withdrawals from other drugs many people seem to use it anywhere from 2 to 5 times a day. If Kratom is used to control chronic symptoms of disease, many people use it everyday several times as well. Other people use it recreationally every day several times, many others use it once a week. The biggest issue with continual Kratom usage is an increasing tolerance. Tolerance is when an increased dosage is needed for desired effects and sometimes can lead to a complete absence of positive effects from the Kratom.

Tolerance Prevention, Reduction

  • Keep a variety of strains on hand

      • To cut the risk of tolerance, pay close attention to variety. This is one of the ways you can keep your sensitivity to the effects of Kratom right where you want it. It’s as simple as not using the exact same strain every single day. Keep a few strains on hand and rotate them.
  • Rotating Strains for Reducing Tolerance

  • If you take Kratom daily, you should rotate your Kratom strains.

  • Rotating Kratom means alternating types each day. If Monday you have a Red Vein type, then Tuesday you should have a Green or White strain.
  • Other than the vein color of Kratom, you can also try rotating the Kratom Region. (Thailand, Borneo etc.)
  • If you plan to use regularly, plan out what strains will be used on what days. If specific strains affect you in certain ways, try and plan and match your strain to your days activities.

Don’t overdo it with extracts

These highly concentrated forms of Kratom are strong and fantastic but come at a price. They tend to provoke a drastically and quickly increasing tolerance. Using extracts, a person can become desensitized to larger doses of Kratom, and you may experience a lessening of effects. For this reason, we do not recommend them other than rare “special events” used to bring variety to your routine, and not for everyday use.Top
